Journal of Shaanxi Normal University (Natural Science edition), started in 1960, is a comprehensive academic periodical in natural science supervised by the Ministry of Education of China and sponsored by Shaanxi Normal University. The aim of the journal is to publish timely peer-reviewed papers of high quality, to provide a platform for carrying out academic exchange and serving scientists and engineers, to exhibit outstanding research achievements, and to develop the journal into a respected, top-ranking one. It is one of the core journals of science and technology in China, and is selected in China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan in 2019.
It is a bimonthly international journalpublishing papers in Chinese with English abstracts and references. The scope of the publications includes but are not limited to the following：mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, materials science, life science, food science, environment and resource science and tourism science.
